Geography, which is an important guide in people’s journey to discover nature, started with the origin of the universe and the birth of our planet where life sprinkled. Geography allows us to understand how the world has been transformed by the effects of billions of people, other living things, and endless natural transformation over the millions of years that have passed. In other words, Geography tells us a world that is changing and will be always changing. All elements of a life that cannot be led independent from nature; from climate to morphology, population to tourism, transportation to geopolitics, health to settlement; to water, animals, plants, soil and to all life forms, almost all are within the scope of the science of Geography.

We, as Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Geography, are a science community aiming to train geographers who aim to work with the idealistic principles and who will work with these principles.
