Mission and Vision

MISSION

The mission of our department is to train sociologists who have interdisciplinary knowledge and understanding, understand, explain, interpret and criticize the dynamics of the formation, change and transformation of social life both locally and universally, and to produce knowledge and provide education at an international level, and to be a department that makes scientific contribution to the production of social, cultural, political and economic policies for the identification and solution of social problems, and continuously improves itself and provides training for institutions and organizations operating in both public and private sectors.

VISION

Our vision is to produce knowledge and provide education at an international level and to educate bright and universal sociologists who follow the world and country issues as an intellectual and think in a broader and universalist sense, are sensitive to international problems as well as the world and open to innovation, have a high level of criticism, speak at least one language with a capability of using it at written and oral level.
